Lite Collector delivers complete and accurate network information through the following core functionality.
- Inventory - discovers a complete and accurate inventory of all network elements and their associated properties, such as element type, MAC address, IP address, domain, hostname, operating system, open services, connected switch, connected port, OS hotfixes (Windows) and more.
- Topology - provides a precise, detailed and searchable physical network topology map of the IT infrastructure, including routers, switches, hosts, NAT devices, VMWare elements and more.
- Alerting - detects changes made to the IT infrastructure and its inventory in real-time and sends alerts as events occur.
- Unauthorized Device Detection - enables the definition of authorized devices and identifies and locates unauthorized devices as they are introduced to the network.
- Hotfix Detection - detects hotfixes installed on Windows-based elements and validates successful installations of patches.
