Framingham, MA (July 26, 2007) – Insightix, the developer of stateful IT visibility and network access control solutions, today announced that the company has secured strategic investment from SoftBank Capital. SoftBank Capital is an independent venture capital firm focused on high growth technology based businesses, whose previous investments have included seed investments in Yahoo, E*Trade and UT Starcom.

Insightix will use the funds from this investment to expand its product offerings, engage major channel partners and boost its sales and marketing reach across the United States, Europe and Asia.

Insightix offers two main solutions – Insightix Visibility and Insightix NAC. Insightix Visibility obtains a complete inventory of all network devices, including their location and associated properties, and provides an accurate topology map of the entire network. Insightix NAC ensures that only authorized and compliant devices are allowed to access and operate on the network.

Both Insightix Visibility and Insightix NAC are completely agentless and do not require network changes, specialized software or hardware or extended deployment efforts. Insightix solutions utilize Insightix’s Stateful Network Detection technology, which generates and maintains in a real-time "state" of all devices connected to the network.
